Zusammenfassung:A molded body is obtained from a metal alloy which is solidified in an outer shell of the body outside of the thermodynamic equilibrium in a continuous casting mold as a finished component. Preferred Features: The molded body is solidified in a core in a stable condition or in the thermodynamic equilibrium. The metal alloy is a casting alloy, especially a tool steel alloy containing 0.8-1.5 % carbon, 5-15 % chromium, not more than 10 % vanadium, no more than 1.5 % molybdenum and not more than 1 % tungsten.
