Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed are devices for dispensing volatile materials such as fragrances into the atmosphere surrounding each such device. The device contains a convection zone which holds the materials to be volatilized and dispensed. The convection zone also has both an air inlet end and a convection current discharge end which are open or openable to the atmosphere. Volatilization of materials within, and discharge of these materials from, the convection zone is promoted by the generation of heat via the non-combustive oxidation reaction of thermogenic materials held within a heat generation zone in the device. Heat transferred to the convection zone from the heat generation zone creates convective flow of air and volailized active material through the convection zone and out of its discharge end into the surrounding atmosphere. |
