Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to medicine and pharmaceutical industry and concerns pharmaceutical remedies for heart disease treatment. Novelty is the use of 4-phenyl-2-pyrrolidinone-1-acetic acid amide in the capacity of anti-ischemic drug. Previously its hypotensive and nootrop activity has been described. It has been demonstrated that anti-ischemic activity of the presented drug is beyond the one of Obzidan. However, compared to Obzidan, the drug does not obtain any negative inotrop activity.
