Device for measuring torque in a driving device

The device has a torque transfer torsion element, a rotary reference element, a first and second transducer elements on the torsion and reference elements, a stationary sensor element that detects transducer elements, a reference edge or surface passing and generates a corresponding signal and an evaluation unit that derives the torque from the signal offset. The reference element takes part in torque transfer after reaching a predefined torque. The device has a torque transfer torsion element, a rotary reference element (21), a first transducer element (16) on the torsion element, a second transducer element (34) on the reference element, a stationary sensor element (35) that detects the passing of transducer elements or a reference edge or surface and generates a corresponding signal and an evaluation unit (36) that derives the torque from the signal offset.
