Zusammenfassung:	A functionalized silicic acid (I) comprises fixed functional groups of 3-methacryloxypropylsilyl and glycidyloxypropylsilyl groups. An Independent claim is included for the production of the functionalized silicic acid (I) by spraying a silicic acid, optionally mixed with water or dilute acid, with at least one surface modifying reagent, optionally mixing for a further 15-30 minutes and heating at 100-400 degrees C for 1-6 hrs.
