The forming surface of the tool facing the blank side to have the transitional section, has a shape to form that section, while the forming tool facing the blank side to be flat, is also flat. The forming tool has corresponding forming die (5) and mold (6), and a holding-down device (7). The appliance is esp. used for deep drawing, stretch-forming, or pressing.
