Zusammenfassung:A method for determining a common shift value to be applied to a plurality of data for global normalization, said plurality of data comprising first and second types of data, said first type being identified by a transition from a first value to a second value and said second type being identified by a transition from the second value to the first value, said method comprising the steps of translating said data to a form in which a transition in said first type and the second type of data is represented by the same transition in the respective translated data; and using said translated data to determine a common shift value.
