Zusammenfassung:A method of catalyzing a cationic coating comprising a cationic resin such as an epoxy resin-amine reaction product or a copolymer of a cationic monomer, and a blocked polyisocyanate, wherein a catalyst is added, said catalyst selected from the group consisting of bismuth carboxylate(s) having a hydrocarbon chain of from 11 to 36 carbon atoms and a molecular weight of from 165-465, and a mixture of a bismuth salt selected from the group consisting of bismuth oxide and bismuth chloride, and a carboxylic acid having a hydrocarbon chain of from 11 to 36 carbon atoms and a molecular weight of from 165-465.
