Zusammenfassung:	According to the invention, a portion of the channels which can be made available by the base stations are withdrawn from exclusive control by the assigned base station controller. The number of the channels of said portion can be varied by involving a second base station controller in the process. Reserving channels for the second base station controller reduces complexity with regard to signaling. The portion of the channels which are withdrawn from the exclusive control by the assigned base station is not varied in a frame by frame manner, rather it is varied in large intervals. This allocation of resources in a radio communications system having CDMA subscriber separation can be used in both FDD mode as well as in TDD mode.
