Zusammenfassung:A satellite communication system controls the processing of a plurality of ATM communication data cells. A look-up table 664 stores control parameters. An inbound module 500 receives control data cells from a ground based network operations center 300 and routes them to controller 114 which modifies the parameters in the table 664 according to the control data in the cells. The ATM communication data cells are processed in an outbound module 600 according to the parameters stored in the table 664.
