Zusammenfassung: | Method is of the thermal cleaning type in which an automatic reheating cycle is activated inside the water heater for a temperature of 'n' degrees. The cycle is automatically activated after every 'x' number of days. The value 'n' can be predetermined so as to correspond with a temperature capable of reducing the most common and dangerous bacteriological load inside the water accumulation deposits, that is about 75 degrees centigrade. The anti-bacteria electronic system for the water heater has an electronic card (1) which contains a microprocessor (U1); a control relay (REL1) designed to supply an electrical resistance sanitary water heater; a potentiometer (R5) designed to adjust the temperature of the sanitary water contained in the water heater; a water temperature sensor; the card can also include; a green LED indicator (D14) designed to signal correct operation of the system; a red LED indicator (D15) designed to indicate a fault; a number of white LED's (D10) designed to indicate the level of the heater contents; a current transformer (TRF1) supplying the electronic circuits and providing current protection for the water heater; a second temperature sensor. An Independent claim is also included for the device used to reduce bacterial contamination in sanitary water heaters. |
