Zusammenfassung:The device has an intake gap (40) to receive signatures (1) from a device with a first transportation speed, and decelerate these to a first reduced speed. Gap surfaces engaging on the signatures are formed by a pair of opposite non-circular rotating components (4), which define a draw-in gap (40) to decelerate the components, and an intermediate gap, accelerating them. The signatures are moved from the intake gap to an ejection gap (50), to be decelerated to a second reduced speed. The gap surfaces are formed by two non-circular rotating components (5), which similarly decelerate and accelerate the first components.
