Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for the metal-cutting machining of metals using an aqueous cutting fluid which is followed by cleaning of the machined metal parts with an aqueous cleaning solution. The invention is characterized in that a) as cutting fluid for the metal-cutting machining an aqueous solution is used which contains corrosion inhibitors as well as polyglycol monoether and/or polyglycol diether; and b) as cleaning solution an aqueous solution is used which contains cleaning substances and the same corrosion inhibitors as the cutting fluid.
