Zusammenfassung:The cross member(10) has a shell-form base component which in the center section at least on one side is widened, and designed as a part(33,34) of a housing for a heating or conditioning unit. Air ducts are formed in the cross member and open out in the widened section. Injected plastic material may be used to form an air duct manufactured completely from plastic. The plastic material may form only a part of the air duct walling, the remaining walling being formed by the base component.
