Zusammenfassung:	To operate the electromagnetic actuator (4), for the valve (1) of an internal combustion (IC) motor, the voltage is controlled to give a voltage curve where the eddy current at the armature (4d) is kept as low as possible from the computation of a mathematical model. The voltage curve is determined by empirical or numerical means, and especially by simulation, and is delivered by pulse width modulation.
