Method of stochastic fault location in a massively homogeneous system in an unidirectional isochronous netwok with ring topology

The method involves starting a random number generator in the homogeneous network subscribers in the event of a fault in the unidirectional isochronous network. The starting number is determined by a production code. A wait time is determined by the random number generator, after which the homogeneous network subscriber alters its operating mode and/or the same results are generated by the random number generator for identical starting values. Independent claims are also included for the following: a network subscriber for implementing the method.
