Zusammenfassung:The present invention includes a system and method of interworking a cellular network (10) and an SS7 network (14). The method includes the steps of receiving, on a TCP/IP port, an TCAP message (22) sent from the cellular network (10), determining SS7 provisioning data for the TCP/IP port, determining a destination in the SS7 network (14) according to the SS7 provisioning data, adding SS7 message parameter fields and data to the TCAP message (22) and generating an SS7 message (26), and sending the SS7 message (26) to the destination in the SS7 network (14).
