Liquid pressure transfer method for loop-like workpiece and product decorated thereby

A liquid pressure transfer method capable of applying a transfer pattern (P) for decoration specifically intended for a workpiece (W) such as a steering wheel (1A) to the workpiece (W). The workpiece (W) to which the transfer pattern is applied is formed to have a rod-like element (4) curved into a loop-like shape to form an apparent plane (R). A transfer film (F) used in the liquid pressure transfer is formed on a required portion thereof with the transfer pattern (P) for decoration which is formed to have a configuration corresponding to that of the apparent plane (R). The workpiece (W) is operated so as to downwardly approach the transfer film (F) from a position corresponding to the transfer pattern (P) and then be immersed in the transfer liquid (L), so that the transfer film (F) bonds to the rod-like element (4) of the workpiece (W) in a manner to circumferentially surround the rod-like element (4) continuously from a bottom of the rod-like element (4) to a top thereof with respect to a diametric section of the rod-like element (4), resulting in the transfer pattern (P) being transferred to at least the rod-like element (4) of the workpiece (W).
