Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control device, especially for use in a motor vehicle, with an input terminal that is provided with input keys. The aim of the invention is to simplify the design of such a control device. To this end, the input keys comprise at least one selection key (4) for defining a device that can be controlled by the control device and at least one function key (5) allocated to said selection key (4) for controlling said selected device. In a first operational state, the function key (5) is inactive and in a second operational state, the function key (5) can be activated.
