Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a household appliance (10), such as a refrigeration appliance, a stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher or the like, having at least one detachable supporting element (20) for electrically operated components, such as compressors, switches, motors or the like, whose electric connection lines have a protective conductor (21) which serves as a ground. The inventive household appliance has at least one housing which accommodates a useful storage area. Said housing comprises components which are designed to be electrically conductive and which can be contacted. The components are, for example, side walls (15), braces, a door or the like which are made of an electrically conductive material. Said components are electroconductively connected to one another to a substantial degree and are grounded. The supporting element has at least two contact elements (24) which are capable of interacting with the housing (11) or with the components in an electrically conductive manner when the supporting element is in a fastened state on the housing or on the components.
