Zusammenfassung: | At least two rows (1,2) of optical semiconductor cells, e.g. CMOS components, are arranged in parallel and in direction perpendicular to the movement of the vehicle (5). At least one light source (6), in form of a modulated laser diode, is provided in the region of the sensor cells for the illumination of the object with the light pulses. The distance measurements are used to form a profile of the moving object and hence to perform the classification of differ types of moving objects, esp. vehicles. The identical, but different in time, measurements are used to determine the speed of th object. |
