Zusammenfassung:The accumulator has a hollow external casing (12) of cylindrical shape having a base (13) that is thicker than its sides and fabricated from aluminium. An input hole (14) and an output hole (16) are drilled into the base. A filter unit (20) is attached to a U-shaped tube (19). At the upper end of the casing there is a diffuser element (26) in the form of an inverted bucket having a hole (27) through which the tube (19) can pass. The diffuser element provides an optimum distribution of the refrigerant. The first end of the tube is connected to the output hole and the second end is open and is in juxtaposition with the diffuser element. A dehydrating device (11) for refrigerant has an external casing (12) with an input hole (14) and an output hole (16) formed in a first end thereof. The device is provided with a desiccating filter (20) and is arranged within a substantially U-shaped tube (19). A diffusion device (26) is provided and a first end of the tube (19) is connected to the output hole (16), a second end of the tube (19) is open and is in juxtaposition with the diffusing device (26) and the diffusing device (26) is located in upper portion of the casing (12).
