RADIATION ACTUATED VALVE

A valve (1) is provided having a body with a flow path (5) therethrough. A membrane prevents fluid flow through the flow path. Radiation means, in one embodiment, a heat providing element (6) abuts the membrane and is operable to weaken or destroy at least part thereof.
