Zusammenfassung:	The sensor consists of a measuring optical fibre (10) and an optoelectronic box (12). The optical fibre is stripped of the normal coating and placed inside a guiding sheath (22) whose loop is attached to the moving object and ends to the fixed box. A thermally stabilized monochromatic luminous source (122) supplies light to the fibre and polarization changes due to movement are measured and analyses by a detector and processor (130,140).
