Zusammenfassung: | Diastereomer- or enantiomer- enriched homopolyamino acids adsorbed on an insoluble carrier used as catalysts for epoxidation of carbon-carbon double bonds, are new. Diastereomer- or enantiomer- enriched homopolyamino acids adsorbed on an insoluble carrier are new. Independent claims are included for (1) preparation of the homopolyamino acids bonded to carriers comprising suspending the polyamino acid and carrier in an organic solvent, filtering, then drying the residue; (2) use of the homopolyamino acids in a process for enantioselective epoxidation of carbon-carbon double bonds; (3) diastereomer- and enantiomer- enriched polyneopentylglycine as new; (4) preparation of polyneopentylglycine from N-carboxylic acid anhydrides of neopentylglycine.; (5) use of polyneopentylglycine in preparation of enantiomer-enriched epoxides and homopolyamino acids bound to carried as above. |
