Hood of a pilot burner for a hot water heater

The pilot light fitting has a part (21) which connects with the water heater gas supply, an intermediate part (22), for mixing gas and air, and a terminal part (23) enveloping and sheltering the gas mixture combustion flame. The part (21) is supported, so that it can be removed, by one of the parts (30) of the gas supply of the water heater so that it can be withdrawn and refitted during maintenance. The part (21) has a split ring (40) which is elastically deformable. The perimeter of this ring (40) is increased, because of it flexibility, when it is removed and refitted during maintenance work. Retention in position of the part (21) is ensured by elastic closing the ring on the part (30) of the water heater. The split ring (40) has two free ends (42,43) situated opposite each other, near to which are feet (47,48) which enable the maintenance engineer to increase the perimeter of the part (21) at the time of its removal or fitting. Il s'agit d'une coiffe de veilleuse comprenant une partie de liaison (21) à un générateur, une partie intermédiaire (22) de mélange du gaz de combustion à l'air et une partie terminale (23) enveloppant et accrochant la flamme de combustion du mélange. La partie de liaison comprend une bague fendue (40) dans le sens de sa hauteur et qui est déformable élastiquement, le périmètre de cette bague étant augmenté lors de son retrait de sa remise en place par l'opérateur à l'encontre de l'élasticité de la baque, le maintien en position de ladite partie de liaison étant assuré par resserrement élastique de la bague sur une partie constitutive du générateur. La partie de liaison est venue de matière avec la partie intermédiaire sur une partie de son périmètre et elle comprend des moyens d'immobilisation angulaire et longitudinale par rapport à la partie constitutive du générateur.
