Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An infinitely variable transmission for a vehicle has a flexible drive belt (3) between two sets of cones (2) with one cone of each set fixed and the other moved axially by a servo drive. The servo force is taken from a hydraulic pressure reservoir (23) fed by an electro-hydraulic pump (27). The servo drives vary the transmission ratio and can also recover energy by pumping fluid to the reservoir. The hydraulic pump is only operative when required, thus saving energy.
