Zusammenfassung:Electroluminescent display comprises an electroluminescent element containing an N-alkyl-2,2'-imino-bis(8-hydroxyquinoline)-metal complex (I). Electroluminescent display consists of a substrate, an anode and cathode, at least one of which is transparent to visible light, and an electroluminescent element with hole injection, hole-transport, electroluminescent, electron transport and/or electron injection zone(s) in the given sequence, any of which can take over the function of the others. The electroluminescent element contains an N-alkyl-2,2'-imino-bis(8-hydroxyquinoline)-metal complex (I).
