Wireless data transmission method and intermediate station

The data are transmitted between a terminal (1) and an intermediate station (10), located in a radio cell of the base station (5), by optical signals, while the data are transmitted between the intermediate station by radio signals, pref. according to the DECT standard. Pref. during the transmission the optical signals are converted into radio signals by the intermediate station during traffic from the terminal to the base station, while during the transmission from the base station to the terminal the radio signals are converted into optical ones by the intermediate station. An independent claim is included for the intermediate station. Es wird ein Verfahren zur drahtlosen Datenübertragung zwischen einem Endgerät (1) und einer Basisstation (5) sowie eine Zwischenstation (10) vorgeschlagen, die den Übergang von Endgeräten mit optischer Schnittstelle in ein Funksystem ermöglicht. Dabei werden Daten zwischen dem Endgerät (1) und der in einer Funkzelle der Basisstation (5) angeordneten Zwischenstation (10) durch optische Signale übertragen. Die Daten werden zwischen der Zwischenstation (10) und der Basisstation (5) durch Funksignale, vorzugsweise nach dem DECT-Standard übertragen.
