Zusammenfassung:	A halogen-containing resin composition with excellent thermal stability at the same level as that obtainable by the use of lead-series stabilizers, is obtained by using a zinc-series stabilizer with a satisfactory safety profile. A thermal stabilizer is used which contains a dolomite-series compound and a zinc salt of an organic acid, and a halogen-containing resin composition is produced by blending the thermal stabilizer with a halogen-containing resin.
