Zusammenfassung:The present invention is an aluminium assembly comprising at least two components brazed to each other. The assembly comprises: at least a first aluminium based component (12) having a coating (18) of a zinc-antimony alloy having at least 1.0 wt. % antimony applied to a region of a surface of the component which is to be joined to a second aluminium based component (22); and at least one second alumimiun based component (22) disposed adjacent to the coating; whereby the at least first aluminium based component and the at least second aluminium based components are joined together during a controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) process.
