Zusammenfassung:	A flame-retarded thermoplastic resin composition is provided which is excellent in its workability, heat resistance, humidity resistance, mechanical strength and flame retardance. The composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin, from 1 to 50 parts by weight of an aromatic orthophosphate ester of formula (I) which is solid at normal temperature (25 DEG C), and from 1 to 50 parts by weight of a nitrogen-containing compound. In formula (I) each of R , R , and R is independently hydrogen or an alkyl group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms provided that R , R and R are not simultaneously hydrogen.
