Preparation of substituted guanidine derivatives of formula (I) comprises reacting calcium cyanamide with a primary or secondary aminocarboxylic acid or aminosulfonic acid (II) (or their derivatives). R = H or 1-20C alkyl; R = (1-20C alkylene)-COOR , (1-20C alkylene)-CONR R , (1-20C alkylene)-CN or (1-20C alkylene)-SO2R ; R = H, 1-20C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 6-18C aryl, Na, K, Li, Ca, Mg or N(R )4; R , R = independently H, 1-20C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl or 6-18C aryl; R = OR or N(R )2; R = H, 1-20C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, 6-18C aryl, Na, K, Li, Ca, Mg or N(R )4; R = H, 1-20C alkyl, 2-10C alkenyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl or 6-18C aryl. |
