Method for generating coloured decorations on ceramic surfaces and method for colouring ceramics

A colored decoration is produced on a ceramic surface by applying water-soluble colored salts and/or water-insoluble colored pigments of transition metals and rare earth metals, spraying with water and kiln firing at up to 1400 degrees C.
