Zusammenfassung:	Production of polyisocyanates is new, in which isocyanates of formula (OCN-CH2)X (I) are obtained by polymerisation in the presence of hydrogen polyfluorides of formula (II) as oligomerisation catalysts, in which X = optionally branched, optionally cyclic 3-20C groups containing at least one other NCO group and optionally other hetero atoms or groups (N, O, S); m = 0.1 or more; and M = n-charged cation(s). Also claimed are the products obtained by this process.
