Zusammenfassung:	The angle sensor has a magnetic field sensor element (1). The magnetic field sensor element provides a sensor signal representing the relative angular position ( alpha ) of a rotary measuring object (6), which is provided with a magnet (4). A further measuring element (2) is positioned next to the magnetic field sensor element. The further element provides a signal representing the direction of the magnetic field, which is used in conjunction with the signal from the magnetic field sensor element. An evaluation circuit (9) is provided to calculate the angle position from the two signals.
