The mixers are made up of a series of U-section troughs bounded by side walls (15a,15b) and bases (16). In their retracted position the troughs are located inside the exhaust flow through the nacelle pipe, and their side walls lie parallel to its median axis. In the deployed position the troughs are able to channel cold air from the outside into the exhaust flow. |
