Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	Infusion device has a vessel (1) for dosing medicament when a plug (2) is advanced. It passes through the outlet (4), into the connected catheter (8) and to the infusion needle (9). Between the outlet and needle is a valve (30). To prevent the possibility of spontaneous emptying (e.g. due to a leak), this valve is held shut (e.g. by a spring). It only opens when the pressure above exceeds the (negative) pressure exerted by the height of the fluid column at the valve, this pressure being in equilibrium with the spring.
