Multilayered adhesive tape

Adhesive tape with an elastomeric substrate had (a) a substrate of styrene-butadiene (SB) copolymer; (b) a self-adhesive layer on one or both sides; and (c) an intermediate layer of polyphenylene ether (I). Also claimed is a method of making the tape.
