Zusammenfassung:	The medication infusion pump has a reservoir (16) containing the medication which is subjected to set positive pressure. The connected baseline flow path (24) includes a primary restrictor (26), for passage of the medication to the patient. The pump has a flow rate controller (12) including a pressure control, which detects an increased pressure drop along the baseline at a location downstream of the primary restrictor. A second restrictor (30) may be connected in series with the first, when the detected increased pressure differential exceeds a predetermined threshold.
