Adjustable guidewire assembly for guiding cords being projected on a surface

Apparatus for making a reinforcement from a strand laid directly in its final position by positioning lengths of strand on a recovery surface (5) has an assembly (5) consisting of: a means recovery the strand (1); a rotating tube (2) fixed on shaft (20) such that the radially outer and (21) of the tube is oriented approximated radially with respect to the axis of rotation. The tube receives the strand (1) via its central end (22), from the receiving means (1), and it exits at the other end (21). The receiving means controls the linear speed of advance of the strand inside the rotating tube; a means to rotate the tube; a means to cut the strand into a length on each rotation of the tube. The apparatus also has: a strand guide receiving the lengths of strand. The guide being positioned with respect to the rotating tube to receive the strand in the place of rotation of the tube. The strand guide has an opening projecting out to where the strand exits, where it has a pair of deflectors (43), defining an elongated slot, into which the strand length drops, and can be adjusted to alter the pressure applied between them and so onto the strand and against its movement through them. Ledit appareil comprend en outre un guide-fil (4) pour recevoir des tronçons de fil. Le guide-fil comporte des déflecteurs (43) exercant une pression sur le fil. Ladite pression peut être réglée par des vis de pression (7).
