Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to the formation of phenol alkylation polymers which release negligible phenol and formaldehyde emissions. The phenol aralkylation polymers of the present invention are derived from a phenolic monomer, at least one styrene derivative and an aryl diolefin. In addition to the phenolic monomer, styrene derivative and aryl diolefin, other reactants may be introduced to produce a product with particular properties.
