Cordless telephone arrangement

The telephone system includes at least a first central site (1) and at least one transceiver (5,6,7) especially in the form of a cordless telephone. A bus coupler (10) is provided which is connected to a bus system (15). At least one further electric apparatus (20) is connected to the bus system (15). The bus coupler is connected to the first centre and control commands are transmitted from the transceiver. The first centre conveys signals taken from the received control command to the bus coupler to control the further electric apparatus. Preferably the bus coupler conveys additional information received from the further electric apparatus to the first centre. The additional information can be transmitted from the first centre and may be displayed at the transceiver.
