Zusammenfassung:	The traction mechanism comprises an endless drive belt (22) for driving at least one work tool. The mechanism has a drive pulley (24), four belt pulleys (18) assigned to the work tool, and a tension pulley (28) which is provided at a tensioning arm (32). A compression spring (42) is provided which has a resetting force acting in the first direction, and which is adjustable in such a manner that it locks a movement of the tensioning arm in the second direction. A rod (34) and a supporting piece (54) are provided in order to lock the movement of the tensioning arm in the second direction. The compression spring is housed on the rod, with one of its ends working against the rod and its other end against the supporting piece (54).
