Zusammenfassung: | The soundproofing method involves calculating a vibration mode, either in the radial direction or in the axial direction of the rail track wheel (6). The wheel resonance frequency for the defined mode of vibration is determined. A resonant beater (10a,10b) is fixed to the wheel. This dynamic beater is constituted by an active mass (11a,11b) having a significant value relative to the mass of the part of the wheel to which it is associated. It is connected to the wheel by a rubber ring (12a,12b) which is engaged in a cavity (14) machined in the rim (8) internal surface. The beater is made and adjusted so that its vibration frequency is equal to the wheel resonant frequency for the defined mode of vibration. |
