The user supplies information, pref. through a speech recognition unit (EM) or touch screen, or via a keyboard or mouse, for storage (ESP). The action determination unit (AE) works out on the one hand evidence of action (102) and on the other hand a number of prescribable actions. Parameters associated unambiguously with each action are determined by a parameter parser (PP) from the stored digital information. Further evidence and parameters of action may be determined by clarification units. Key terms associated with the actions are compared with the evidence, and the action whose key terms match the evidence is identified as current.
