Zusammenfassung:	The attachment (12,28,60) collects water that has condensed on its lid (26) or sides (34) in a condensate trap (32), which is electrically heated or thermally coupled to the exhaust flue outlet (22). The attachment base (46) is thermally conductive, e.g. made of aluminium. It is fastened (88,90) to the flue outlet, and has a heating element (30), a temperature sensor, and a heat transfer surface (44). The condensate trap is inclined to drain either outwards or inwards into the exhaust flue. The lid (26) is conical so that condensate (64) drips either from its centre into the flue, or from its outer edge into the condensate trap. Several alternative flue arrangements are described.
