Preserved and stabilised natural latex, preparation thereof and use of water-soluble carboxylic salts for its preservation and stabilisation

Natural latex (I), containing at least one water-soluble carboxylate salt of formula R-COOM (II), in which R = 4-17C branched alkyl or alkenyl and M = a monovalent cation. Also claimed is a process for the production of (I) by adding salt(s) (II) to natural latex.
