Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	Salts of 1-hydroxy-dihydrophosphole oxides of formula (Ia)or (Ib) and salts of 1-hydroxy-phospholane oxides of formula (II) are claimed, in which R -R = H, or linear or branched alkyl, preferably 1-12C alkyl, more preferably 1-4C alkyl, especially methyl or ethyl; M = metal of Main or Sub Group 2 or 3, preferably magnesium, calcium, zinc or aluminium; and n = 1, 2 or 3. Also claimed is (i) a process for the production of the salts by reacting (I) and/or (II) in aqueous solution with carbonates, hydroxides or oxides of metals of Main or Sub Groups 2 or 3; and (ii) moulding materials containing these salts. Preferably the reaction is carried out at 30-150 degrees C with stirring. The moulding materials contain 5-30 wt.% salt based on weight of polymer.
