Zusammenfassung:	An internal combustion engine of the known type has an assembly support incorporating a lubricant oil pump and a coolant pump. Both pumps with their respective housings are mounted in apertures in the assembly support and sealed off from those apertures. A cover is then placed over the entire assembly support. The purpose of the invention is to produce an internal combustion engine in which the ancillary assemblies are easy to inspect and accessible. This is done by mounting the coolant pump (12) and oil pump (11) externally on the assembly support (10) and by providing at least one oil distributor channel (18) and coolant distributor channel (23) within the assembly support (10). This design ensures easy access to the ancillary assemblies.
